Refund policy

At South Traditions, we strive to deliver high-quality traditional food products. If you are not satisfied, the following policy applies:

Returns

  • Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery.

  • Only unopened, unused, and non-tampered food products in original packaging are eligible.

  • Opened, used, or perishable food items are not returnable due to hygiene and food safety laws.

Damaged / Incorrect Items

  • If you receive a damaged, defective, or wrong product, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos/videos.

  • Approved cases will receive a refund or replacement at our discretion.

Refunds

  • Once an approved return is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 7 business days.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only (Shopify Payments, PayPal, card, UPI, etc.).

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable, except for damaged or incorrect items.

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged, defective, or incorrect.

  • We recommend using a trackable courier, as we are not responsible for lost returns.

Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be canceled before dispatch only.

  • Shipped orders cannot be canceled and must follow the return eligibility rules.

Payment Disputes (Shopify & PayPal)

Before raising a chargeback or PayPal dispute, please contact us first.
Unauthorized or false claims may result in account restrictions, as per Shopify Payments and PayPal policies.
